We have prepared for you touristic circuits of cultural and fun character, all over the country, so you can take the best of the time you will stay among us.

Come to meet Lisbon and its cultural richness, passing through historical routes, marked by tradition, and be marvelled with its monuments.

But, why stay just in the capital? Meet other beautiful cities, which have already impressed the thousands of tourists that daily enter our borders.

  • CITY OF LISBON
    Leaving on bus towards LISBON, an admirable city built nearly 2,500 years ago, preserving testimonies from the middle ages to the modern times. Small walking promenade to visit the Castle of Saint George, an 8th century fortress where you can appreciate a magnificent view over the city and the Cathedral and passing through the narrow streets of the medieval borough of Alfama. Then the tour will proceed to the historic borough of Belém, passing on bus by the Commerce Square, stopping by the Monastery of Hieronymite, built on the 16th century, the finest example of the Manueline style (gothic naturalist), considered by UNESCO as Patrimony of Humanity, by the Royal Coaches Museum, with the largest and most important collection of carriages in the World; by the Tower of Belém, an 16th Century fortress by the river and by the Monument to the Discoveries, one of city. Return.

  • NATIONS PARK
    Departure driving towards Lisbon to visit the Park of Nations for the Expo’98, the last world exhibition of the 20th Century which team was the oceans. Visit to the Oceanarium of Lisbon, the biggest attraction of the park and the biggest in Europe, designed by Peter Chermayeff; visit to the pavilion of virtual reality, between others. Have free time to shop in the Vasco da Gama’s Shopping Centre. Return.

  • SINTRA/CASCAIS/ESTORIL
    Departure to this small and picturesque village surrounded by the Mountain of SINTRA, immortalized by the famous English poet Lord Byron as the “Glorious Eden”. Visit to the Sintra’s National Palace, dating from the 13/14th Century, an important royal residence of many Portuguese Kings. Free time will be given in the centre of the town where you’ll find traditional shops. The tour will proceed in the Pena’s Palace, a fabulous fairy tale palace from the Romantic epoch, then driving along the coast to the most western point of Continental Europe, the Roca Cape, to the Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno, a mythical cave made by the sea. Next destination is CASCAIS an ancient city of fishermen and the refuge to the European royalty in the Second World War. Return via the beautiful coastal road passing on bus by ESTORIL, its beaches and Casino, the biggest in Europe.

  • SETÚBAL REGION/SETÚBAL BEACHES/PALMELA/AZEITAO
    Departure to SETÚBAL, a city of centuries of traditions, with its origins in the ancient roman city Celtic Cetobriga, always connected to the fish salting and today an important industrial and commercial center. This city is turned to tourism due to its patrimony, in buildings, but especially in nature. Visit to the Church of Jesus Convent, from the 14th century, the first monument with Manueline style features and to the Fortress of Saint Phillip, from the 16th century, with an advanced military architecture, having a plant of six points.Panoramic tour in the ARRÁBIDA Mountain, the only example of the primitive Mediterranean vegetation, driving by the white sandy beaches of Figueirinha and Portinho da Arrábida, visit to the Lapa of Santa Margarida, a stalactites and stalagmite cave, where you can find the most ancient vestiges of Human presence in the region. Stop in the Capuchins Convent, from the 16th century. Then we finally head towards the medieval Castle of Palmela and AZEITÃO, for a wine tasting in the José Maria da Fonseca Scurs wine cellar. Return.

  • ÉVORA
    Departure to ÉVORA, called Ébora by the Celtics, Libertias Julia by the Romans, it is today known as the “Museum City”, for its abundance of monuments, having its richness recognized, in 1986, after UNESCO’s “Museum City and World Heritage” classification. With its routes in remote times, Évora has tracks of several times and civilizations, having in the Middle Age the Courts of the Portuguese kings. Inside the city we will visit the Cathedral, with a Romanesque-gothic architecture, the Ruins of the Roman Temple of Diana, from the 2nd or 3rd century a. C., symbol of the city; the curious Bones Chapel, from the 17th century, with skeletons of 5 thousand monks, and the Saint Francisco Church, from 1480. End of the tour and because the Museum City is also full of life, free time will be given to appreciate this beautiful city and to shop. Return.

  • FÁTIMA/BATALHA/ALCOBAÇA/ÓBIDOS
    Departure towards north to Fátima, a rural town that became well known after an apparition of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children, in the beginning of the 20th century. Visit the Basilica, an important Roman Catholic shire that attracts thousands of pilgrims every year and the Chapel of Apparitions, the place where the children had the visions. Continuation of the tour to Batalha, visiting the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, a jewel of the late gothic Portuguese; in Acobaça we will visit the Abbey of Santa Maria de Alcobaça, one of the first gothic monuments in our country built by the Cistercians monks. The tour will end in ÓBIDOS, a medieval picturesque town with a walk tour through the historic centre. Return.

  • BOAT TRIP IN “ALCATEJO”
    Departure from Alcochete, on board of Alcatejo, a traditional boat from the village, adopted since the middle age to answer the needs of the transport of people and goods to the Capital, on the other shore of the river Tagus. The boat can pass the riparian area, the Hortas beach, the Bounds of the Natural Reserve of Tagus Estuary, or the Samouco beach, with possibility of having fish soup (typical plate of the region) for lunch, on board.
